I have a magnificent boyfriend, best friend, confidant, personal "pocket-holder" of things that won't fit in my purse, Lover, Chef, Masseur, Driver, GPS, Fellow Foodie & Drinking Buddy, Live Show Companion, Hiking Guide, Shopping Mirror, and many other things.. I hate the overexposure of the internet, but I like to read about other people's lives; by means of journals, memoirs, letters, conversations, etc.. I have been told that: I am funny (and I am pretty sure I can make anyone laugh) I am a bitch (not necessarily to my face, but in my defense I really am not) I'll explain.. I am very reserved (at first), introvert, and "serious" when it comes to work. I always have a "stern" look on my face. People are intimidated by this, and never confront me, they just assume I am a bitch.. I say, get to know me first and then tell me again if I am a so.. I like to have a good time either by watching a good movie, reading an even better book, walking or hiking around the woods, getting to know people, gabbing with Mandy, shopping, museums and other arsty/farsty things, watching live shows, driving around with a destination in mind, watching animals, especially furry things; ie. squirrels, cute puppies, bunnies, donkeys, horses, having a drink here and there -but I don't like drinking as a means to always get together with someone-, dancing Spanish music... I am slowly learning to do things by myself, whether it be going to see a play, museum, restaurant, walking around the city, etc... Being an introvert and utterly shy, it is not as easy as it sounds. I have been a Vegetarian since August 2004. I respect the concept of Veganism, but I am not ready to fully adapt to it yet. I recently started looking into RAWvolution and have been inspired. I don't accept cruelty towards animals. When it comes down to religion, I might believe in the idea and concept of a God, but I've lost faith in the Church. Some days I am more spiritual than anything else. However, I've always felt that it would be nice to raise kids with religious values, it seems like it is needed and provides structure in your life. PET PEEVES INCLUDE: People blowing their nose in public, ESPECIALLY, in the vicinity of FOOD. THINGS I LIKE: I like Good Food, especially when it is Vegetarian. Great Music. Tasty Coffee. Some Tattoos. Movies with Plots. Books with Articulate Format. Concerts that Rock. Charles Bukowski. Poetry by John Milton, Andrew Marvell, William Blake, Elizabeth B. & Robert Browning, Robert Frost & Langston Hughes. Romance when it grows from the heart. Spontaneity. Driving. Friendships that are meaningful. Getting Silly with my Boyfriend. New Things. Surprises. Real Mail-not bills- Awesome Hair (Blowouts). Taking Pictures of Crazy Flowers. Exercising At a GYM For Women ONLY. Borrowing Magazines (Hello! they are old!). A Flattering Piece of Clothing. Fabulous Shoes. My New MK MakeUp. My Year Old Car. Feeling Sore after Working Out. Pretending To Be From The Bronx/Brooklyn, When In Reality I've Always Ended Up There By Mistake. Chefin' It. Not Smoking. Warm Weather. Live Shows. Making The Bed with The Boyfriend. Off-Days. Getting Out of Work Early. Planning My Move to California. DISLIKE: Terrible service, feeling fat, tight clothes, sore throats, backstabbers, dumb people, my phone, delayed flights, runny make up, my j-lo puff jacket, getting stood up, inconsiderate people, feeling useless, shoes that pinch my feet, ignorance, whining, waking up too early, running low on gas, junk mail, getting lost, not working out, taxes, HIGH gas prices, rude drivers, the word HISPANIC, cocaine jokes, getting lost, when my bra strap falls, holding it in, wrinkles, bad news, paying loans, birthday 2007, and other things...
